DWG Handel is located in the heart of Dresden, directly in front of the iconic Frauenkirche (Church of Our Lady).
Dresden is one of Germany’s most beautiful cities, rich in history and once the capital of the Kingdom of Saxony.
It is home to one of Germany’s small yet exceptional wine-growing areas, offering many wines.
Our shop is led by Mr. Shinichi Numajiri, a top finalist in the German International Sommelier Competition, who is happy to advise our guests and help them find the perfect wine.

Our Journey to Opening the Shop
During his university years, our founder encountered German sweet wines while studying abroad in Germany.
At the age of 22, he began to dream of one day opening his own shop specializing in German wines.
At 25, he moved to Germany and worked for a wine company for ten years. During this time, he traveled extensively through many wine regions, tasting wines and deepening his passion for German wine. Captivated by its diversity and character, he eventually fulfilled his long-held dream by opening his own wine shop.

2012 – Passed the Advanced Examination of the German Wine Information Center (Mainz); Registered Selection Judge
